We have to admit, it’s been a long time since our last post… WordPress didn’t seem to want to cooperate, but those issues have been resolved. No fear, we’re still here!

First off all: we’re playing at the Dutch preliminary round of the Metal Battle. We won’t be competing this year, instead we’re going to entertain the crowd while the jury is making up their minds. It’s going to be a blast, so if you’re in the neighbourhood, please check it out! The day after that, there’s another contest we’re participating in called the POPGroningen Talent Awards. We’ll be playing in the preliminaries in Boelie’s Pub, in Winschoten. That too will be most exciting, and again, if you’re in the neighbourhood, do check it out!

So… What have we been up to lately? We’ve been working on new material for our upcoming full-length CD. Some of the tunes are of course already online at our Soundcloud page. But there’s loads more, and we’ve already played some of the new stuff at our shows. Of course, that doesn’t compare to the “real deal”. It’s going to be awesome.

Besides the new material, we’ve set up a Bandcamp account, where you can download our first CD, Unlikely Solution. You can also order that one via our website, which is even cooler because you’ll get a physical disc instead of just the download.

Furthermore, we have some great news! Paradox Machine has signed with Layered Reality Productions (LRP for short.) LRP is a collective of progressive rock and metal bands, combining their efforts to bring more progressive music to the public. Together we stand strong, and together we will bring all of you the coolest progressive music you’ve ever heard! We think this is the next step into the future of the band on becoming the next best band ever.

So what does this mean? Well basically our lives will become a hell of a lot easier because the hardest thing in music is promotion and organisation. After all, we’re just mere musicians so having our friends in LRP around can help us a lot with that.

Hello again! First of all, I’d like to thank all the people whom are suporting us lately, we appreciate the love
We have some news, so listen up:

June 18th 2011 was our second birthday! We look back on 2 wonderful, busy and exciting years with a lot of stress but even more fun and we hope that we can bring you 2 more years of music so stay tuned!
We now have a Soundcloud page with some new songs so be sure to check that out. We now have a GIGS page and we are playing July 24th in Arkum on the Arkum Open Air festival and July 30th in Blanko, Emmen. At last but certainly not least, we decided that is was time to search for some kind of record deal so we signed in to SignMeTo Roadrunner Records and we would like to ask all you to vote for us on the website, you can do that here.

Paradox Machine is having their second birthday soon and we want to celebrate the occasion! Almost a year has passed since we published our very first album containing four epic songs you don’t want to miss out on. This is your chance to get your own copy of Unlikely Solution. From now until June 18th we are giving away one CD for every 20 new ‘likes’ on our Facebook page. At this very moment we have around 50 fans so right now we are giving away 2 CD’s already!

Hey there! As you all might know, we played in the preliminary round of the Metal Battle in Groningen. And we won! We would like to thank all of the people who came out to see and support us. We’ll be playing the semi-finals in Podium, Hoogeveen on March 19. So, if you missed us in Groningen or if you want to see us play again, come to Hoogeveen on March 19 and give us some love!

Metal Battle

Greetings!

Saturday February 19th we will be battling in the local preliminaries of the national Metal Battle 2011. The Metal Battle is a Dutch band contest featuring beginning metal bands fighting to win the finals in Enschede on April 23rd. Besides winning studio time, a photoshoot and t-shirt printing, the winning band will be playing at the Wacken Open Air Metal Battle!

We’ll be playing two of our new songs featuring Nikky on vocals, so obviously this is something you can’t be missing.
Come and cheer for us February 19t at the ORKZ! (Or have little faith in us and check us out at the semi-finals or finals)

Hi all,

Just wanted to wish you all the best for this new year!

So what’s up for Paradox Machine?
We’re still busy writing new music and lyrics, but I’d say we’re about 75% done writing for our new CD. 2011 will be the year we’ll be producing our first full length album with vocals, and of course we’re planning on giving a bunch of shows. So, exciting stuff!

Good morning! (Or evening, doesn’t matter)

Just wanted to let you guys know that we’ve just about finished the first track of our next album! There’s a bit of tweaking left to make it all sound just how we want it, but it’s nearly done!

The track is about 8 minutes long, and has some of the coolest riffs you’ll ever hear! Not to mention the vocals, Nikky really makes it all come together. Awesome!

So, our new website is online! Considering this is the news page, something new should be here every now and then. Obviously as you can see, we have a new website! Richard and Ede developed it together and we are very proud to present it to you. Take a look around and tell us what you think.

Other news which isn’t exactly new but nonetheless is worth mentioning is that we actually do talk to fans online.
